I really enjoyed the book. I thought about things that I have never really thought about before. Like being the sibling of someone who you know will probably die or being born to help keep that sibling alive. I found myself at times really not liking the mom. Of course I can't imagine being in her shoes but I do find it ironic that Anna was the one created to save Kate and Anna ends up saving Kate but dies. I didn't care for the Julie and Campbell thing. I thought there were some things in the book that didn't really fit into the story and would of been better not being in there. But that is just my opinion. Overall I think the book was good. It wasn't what I expected but it wasn't bad. Cindy

I liked the book but was also a little disappointed with the ending. It was very sad that they had Anna just to save Kate. As a parent I couldn't imagine going through any of this. Over all I liked the book but I still think it could have ended better. I balled my eyes out at the end.
I missed the post about if anyone had read this and I had actually read it 1 1/2 to 2 yrs ago. My mom always reads the last chapter of every book she reads 1st but I made her promise me she would not read the end 1st. She actually listened to me but called me yesterday when she finished it and was pissed at the ending. ha

I too almost judge a book solely on how much I wanted to continue reading it but then I realize that at times I'm reading in hopes of getting to the next thing I really am looking forward to knowing...did that make sense lol. Jamie that is crazy that your mom reads the last chapter 1st!!!!!! Yah that woulda spoiled this one big time ha!
