Actually I think we're all done. OHMY I'm so excited to start talking story about it =) I suppose we can just have an open discussion here if everyone wants.

OK....I really wanted to love love this book, I think it was good had a great story line but would probably rate it between a 3-4. How thought provoking to imagine being in that situation, not only as a parent but as a sibling geez....can't even imagine. I felt most of the book was kinda predictable until the end of course. I was so shocked at the end and could NOT help thinking that they were gonna get that kidney one way or another =( I felt the side story about Campbell and Julia was unnecessary...am I the only one that felt that way???? It did provide something other than the heaviness of the main plot but I kinda think it was heavy in itself I mean is that realistic the choice he made to ditch Julia all together with no explanation because of his health...2x?? I just don't know. Ok lemme see what everyone else thinks........Rita
So is everybody finished? I did like the book. I think I sometimes judge a book by how much I want to read it...and I really couldn't put this book down. I was just so curious about how everything was going to play out. If Jesse would get caught, if Julia and Campbell would figure things out, what the dog was for, and the big one. Why Anna was really saying NO about the kidney when she obviously would do anything for Kate. So all my questions were answered but the ending blew me away. I think the ending kind of ruined the book for me. I guess I am just a sucker for those happy endings and it wasn't very happy. All in all I liked the book more before the end. I think I would give it a 3-4. Who's choosing the next one?~Sarah
